About Jennifer Cole

I studied fine art/commercial art at The American College for the Applied Arts in Westwood, CA., graduating with a Bachelor of Arts. Since then, I have been working in the graphic design field for 30 years on various projects, from business cards to billboards. Although I have been a graphic designer for many years, and have had many jobs pertaining to it, my photography lets me explore my creativity more freely. It has definitely become my passion. When I look through the camera lens, I try to see things in a different way. I don't look for the typical shot. For example, instead of taking the “whole picture” I like to focus in on an interesting part of that “picture” and bring it to life. My photography has been inspired from off-roading in my jeep. I go to places where most people don't ever get to go and come across interesting and amazing things. I wanted to share what I have seen with others.
